About Me

Biography
From the office of “The White House”: We would like to introduce, Robert T. White, b.k.a. “Rob White”.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Rob knew his destiny was to be a “world class” musician. Rob started playing the lead guitar at the age of 12 years old. He continued his education at The Rainey Institute of Music, and The Cleveland Institute of Music. Rob then started his first band called “The Black Magic Band”. Within 3 years, Rob’s band began to achieve great success in Cleveland, Ohio.
Rob gave his life to Christ and was baptized at The Cleveland Church of Christ in 1988. In addition to being a member of the Church; he was also on the music staff as the lead guitarist.
In 1991 Rob started playing the bass guitar. Rob enrolled at Cuyahoga Community College as a music major. At this point in Rob’s life, God started opening doors and many opportunities began to present themselves to Rob. Rob opened for "BeBe & CeCe Winans", "John P. Kee", and "Donald Lawrence" to name a few. Rob also performed for "Yolanda Adams" and "Jonathan Dubose". Rob can also include on his list of credits a performance on "The Bobby Jones Gospel Show".
In 1991 Rob became the bassist for The Ohio Mass Choir. Rob then began touring with The Ohio Mass choir thru 1993.After the tour was completed, Rob became the bassist for R&B singer "Gerald Levert" and performed with "Eddie Levert" and "The O'Jays" as well. In 1995 another opportunity presented itself and Rob found himself working on another challenge as the musical director for the Cleveland, Ohio based R&B group, "Men At Large".
Word of Rob’s hard work and determination began to spread thru out the industry and this allowed Rob to hook up with the sultry "Pamela Williams". Rob became musical director for saxophonist "Pamela Williams" of Los Angeles, Ca. and in 1996, Rob and Pam opened for the Grammy Award winning group, "Earth, Wind & Fire", "Marion Meadows" and "Doc Powell". Rob designed his custom 8 string bass with owner Duane Greene.
