About Me



Created and hosted by bios+a+ic, textures is on-going monthly series featuring live performances of ambient music and sound art which began May 11, 2008. Acts use various source to produce the sounds including, tabletop, module, laptop, electro-acoustic, and hardware. Expect long developing works of lush ambience, epic soundscapes, and minimal drones to fill the room and your ears.

textures is always seeking sound artists who want to showcase their works in a live setting and people interested in listening to modern ambient soundscapes in a mellow relaxing environment. Fringe players and listeners from all backgrounds are encouraged to unite monthly to exchange ideas, relax, while opening your hearts, minds, and ears.
