ABOUT MY WORK
I am using this page to represent the many different facets of my career and interests. Therefore, you will find my photos categorized into different albums; some of which may require a little explanation...
MY PAINTINGS - I am using this as a temporary website to display and sell my paintings. You can see my 2D art by clicking on "Paintings/Drawings" in the photo album section. You may purchase my paintings by contacting me directly at
[email protected]. Also if you'd like to be notified of the opening of my website and future shows, please send me an email and put "mailing list" in the subject line.
DECEPTION TATTOOS - Here you will find photos of my tattoo work. All of my tattoos are TEMPORARY. I did do permanent tattoos for a while, but I no longer do that. Please do not ask me to do your permanent tattoo as I do not enjoy doing them and plus I recently sold my equipment. I can however put your idea for your next tattoo on your skin temporarily so that you can experiment with the design, size, color and placement. It's money well spent! The paint I use was developed for the film industry. I have altered the "recipe" over the past few years to achieve the most realistic tattoo possible. The tattoos last from 1-7 days normally, and longevity depends on the P.H. of your skin and how well you take care of it. Removes with rubbing alcohol.
DECEPTION FX - This is where you will find most of my non-tattoo bodyart. This album includes everything from bodypainting to makeup special effects.
PAINTED ON "CLOTHING" - Pretty much self-explanatory. All models are nude except for the paint and tiny bits accent materials used. In many cases I have covered the private areas with latex before applying the paint. And yes, it is legal as long as the private areas are covered with paint or latex.
LIVING INSTALLATIONS - Sometimes event coordinators ask me to do something to make their occasion truly memorable. This is usually when I suggest what I have termed a "living installation". This is where I paint a model and place them at an event or party for the duration of the gathering. They may be instructed to remain stationary or move about freely, depending upon the effect I am going for.
KATRINA T-SHIRTS - After Hurricane Katrina, my income dropped drastically, so I was forced to discover a type of art that people really wanted and could afford. So I started making Katrina t-shirts. These shirts will not be printed again once they are gone. As of July 2007 there are still shirts available but they won't last much longer. They can only be purchased at:
