Io, a five piece hailing from Youngstown Ohio, features members of two tried and true Youngstown originals; Secondhand Suicide, and Erin's Vineyard. Vocalist Ian Pethel has made quite a name for himself in the Cleveland metal scene, gigging alongside acts such as, 216, Mushroomhead, and Drowning Pool. Seth Kensinger's meticulous guitarwork in Erin's Vineyard is carried over with multiplicity in this new project, working with fellow guitarist Angelo Black to create a hyper-melodic, dual-lead guitar style. Bassist Steve Stamos and percussionist C.J. Wilcox provides the backdrop and bottom.
