MySpace Profile EditorMusic is a huge inspiration in my life. I listen to music almost ever minute of my day, I play my guitar everyday and I write my own songs. I take alot of pictures, you should really see the kind of things I get out of this camera, some good, some bad, some really bad. Obviously like every other guy on the face of the planet, I like cars, more specifically Nissan Skyline GT-R34 V-Spec II NUR. One day I will own one and I will drive it really fast through the streets of Tokyo... it will be fun! Again I'm a big fan of speed skating, talk about going is circles! (lol I made a funny) I compare my life to skating, going in circles way too fast to see whats around the next corner, and boy is that true!
James Dean, if he were not dead. With his natural ability to act like nobody else and his cool composure off screen I would have to say he was the sexiest man to ever walk the earth. Lance Armstrong, the strongs man in the world... well he over came alot. This man was diagnosed with cancer 1996, beat cancer and went on to win the worlds toughest bike race, The Tour De France, 7 years in a row AND has started the Livestrong foundation which supports cancer research. Thats just really cool. Lastly, but not least, Joe Satriani. Many people have an opinion on who the greatest guitar player in the world is, this man in my opinion is. Not only is he known for his quality and tone while playing, he also has a signature guitar thats CHROME!!! As well he did teach 2 other famous guitar players, Kirt Hammett and Steve Vai.
Well start off with the basics, I like 'rock and roll' as some would call it, jazz holds a special place with me, there is nothing more calming then just sitting in the dark and listeing to some Miles Davis or some John Coltrane. I like classical music, mainly because I was part of the school band in high school playing my String Bass but also cause classical music has some of the most beautiful sounds out there. Obviously there is the Rat Pack, anyone who tells you that these four men arn't talented are crazy. The Beatles hold high regards with me and always will. Numerous Canadian bands, old and new... BTO, Barenaked Ladies, Tragically Hip, Greath Big Sea and so on. Guitar instrumentals are often amazing to me, Joe Satriani, master of tone. Is kind of the reason I started playing guitar, the things this man can do with a guitar just blows my mind and I can only hope that one day that I can a fraction as good as he can. I'm sure theres more out there but I can't think of anymore right now. SUPPORT LOCAL MUSICIANS!!!Current I am working on finishing a few pieces of music that I've written. With a little effort I will be able to start recording late January, I hope. I mainly play acoustic melodies but I am working on a more rock piece but I'm still working out the balence between vocal, acoustic guitar and electric guitar. Anyway, music is coming soon hopefully!
Theres alot of movies that I like. Garden State, Thumbsucked, Finding Neverland, Blackhawk Down, Unleashed, Ocean's Eleven, The Italian Job, Lord of the Rings, Red vs Blue (they says its a movie I guess) Madagascar, Shrek, and many others.
I don't get to watch alot of TV anymore, with the disgusting amount of time that I work, making sure that all my friends still know that I'm alive and the fact that I'm start skate alot more then I used too, so I've been pretty busy and unalbe to find time to watch TV. On the occasion that I do get to watch some tv its usually CSI, monster garage or American Choppers. Some day I hope that I will have enough time to watch cartoons... cause I miss them oh so much.
Well I'm a big fan of Dan Brown (yes I know, EVERYONE is a big fan of Dan Brown) I really like the Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons is really good too! Just recently I've purchased "Journey to America" by Walter Kirn
The man that inspires me the most in life is Lance Armstrong. This man in my opinion is one of the strongest people that ever lived. Any struggling musician, cause if they're struggling that means they're still trying and thats just awesome.
