About Me

I've been playing & writing rockabilly & hillbilly since the early 80's, I made 1000's of home demo's with me singing & playing guitar & dubbing on bass & a drum made from a tamborine skin....after years of doing this I played bass in a band called the Rhythm Busters & then the Fort Baxter 4, I also did a stint in the Questionaires in the 80's as a guitarist, then spent a while in Paris with Yannis (from Don Cavalli's band) & Vincent (Bo Weavil Band) we went to the studio & recorded a disaster session with me with no voice & we scrapped what was supposed to be an album for Lenox records, that band was called Maark Lee Allen & The Boys From Paris, Then I met Jim Jeffries (Rancho Deluxe) & we started a band called the Pistoleers with Mark Pennington (Caravans) on Drums & Mark Palmer on Bass, after a lineup change we became Mark Lee Allen & The Driver Brothers, we were together for 5 years & played all over Europe, MyGen Profile Generator
