Ok…so here’s the thing. I could sit here and give you a biography of my accomplishments over the years and how music has influenced my life (which I will—a little), or I could tell you my take on music. So to change things up a bit, I thought I might just tell you my take on music:Music is one of those things that everyone loves. We love to sing to it and we love to dance to it, but ultimately we love the feeling it brings us. We love how it makes us feel when we fall in love, or how it knows exactly how we’re feeling when we’ve lost someone close to us. We ultimately love how it knows exactly what to say at the right time. Music defines us. It defines our characteristics, our personality, our loves, our passions. Music is empowering.I write my life stories through my music – like most people do. I write about my good times, my bad times, my confusing times, my silly times. And by doing so, I feel liberated almost. Music is an outlet where you can say what you want to say without anyone telling you you’re right or wrong.Music is a way of life. It teaches you to be strong and it teaches you to smile even through the hardest of times. And with this knowledge, I’m going to keep doing what I love to do – music.
