About Me

I am a Holy Roller proclaiming the name of Jesus and the message of the Cross to anybody that will listen! God's love is higher than a mountain...deeper than the sea!! How can you not want to be a part of that?
God has something for you...and it has far more meaning and depth than anything you have ever looked for under the rocks, in the clubs, on the drugs, in meaningless sex not sanctified by God, and in repeatedly dead end relationships.
Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Quit fighting the hard knocks of life on your own and trade the fight in for rest while Jesus takes up that fight. I found peace when I made that trade.
Is this temporary time of sin worth losing your soul? Think about it...do something about it!

I'm A Pentecostal, I am Not Ashamed!
First and foremost I am a servant of the Most High! I am also a husband and father and grandfather, a biker, a patriot and a fighter, a nonconformist and free-thinker.
I study the Bible..but seem to see things that others miss.
I am not a fan of churchianity.... I feel that most Christians are more about the business of church than they are the business of Christ.
It's time to be about the Father's business!
I feel that if we would listen, we would hear God telling us that what we have going now is not what He intends.
The Bride may have it's faults, but the Groom loves her none the less.
And it is this love that I cling to with a fervor.
I feel like the Founding Fathers would turn in their graves if they knew how far the U.S. has strayed from their original ideals for the republic....if they would have wanted prayer out of schools and public domain, I think they would have taken care of that "problem" two hundred or so years ago.
Sometimes I think I ask "why" to much.
I am not the smartest man in the world, but I am a thinker and it is a part of who I am that I am not willing to change. I am a friendly person but I am also pretty direct.
I am not much for high society, but I am for polite society, because I understand the concept of RESPECT.
But I am not so wrapped up in politeness that I will not call a spade a spade when needed. There is a difference between politeness (which I support) and political correctness (which I despise).

My Interests

Riding my motorcycle...putting my face in the wind.
I love to get on the bike and just go, the feeling of freedom is unbelievable! To be able to pack her with my tent, sleeping bag and a few necessities and hit the highways! When I am in the wind... The problems of life just melt away.
I also like studying the Bible...and going deep!
Photography is a recently revived hobby of mine. I am a fan of Gothic style. Not the whiny, "I just wanna die" black fingernail style...the old stone architecture is what I like. Old churches, castles...and graveyards. Stone structures and statues.
Genealogy...family tree, requires trips to libraries,courthouses and graveyards...pretty neat the stuff you find.This has lead to me having a good appreciation for history.
I am a dog person...wolves, I love wolves. I used to have a wolf, and I also had a German Shepherd/Wolf mix...the best dog that I ever had.
Southern Culture....there is no place like the south, with it's mannerly people, fried food, beautiful swamps and bayous...but it sho'nuff gets HOT here!

I'd like to meet:

I am not one to be starstruck...so to meet someone for the sake of just meeting them means nothing to me.
Jimmy Swaggart....I would love to get in a deep conversation with him.
I feel like he has the best understanding of the sin nature of anybody that I know of.
Because of his past struggles, failures, and triumphs. And the man can flat sing!

The Storm Is Gathering!

Music:

Southern Gospel and Southern Rock....what can I say? I am a son of the South!
Most hard rock, particularly from the old school. SRV, Lynrd Skynrd,Pink Floyd...Bob Seger is probably my favorite of all time. I DON'T like dirty rap...it comes straight from the sewer, shows no intelligence and appeals to man's lowest nature. Rather than bringing out the best in a person, it tends to bring out the worst!

Movies:

Brave Heart, Dark Knight, Schindler's List, Tombstone,

Television:

There are three things that I have my DVR set for, Jimmy Swaggart, GhostHunters, and The Academy....I also like to watch Glen Beck on CNN. I will watch several other shows...like The Office, if I think about it, and a lot of stuff on Discovery, National Geographic, and the Learnng Channel.

Books:

The Bible...I prefer KJV.
The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan...written while serving a twelve year sentence for preaching the gospel around 1670. My favorite all time book besides the Bible.

I found "Restoration" to be the best and most common sense book that I have EVER read regarding the Scriptures and I HIGHLY recommend it. It was written by Dr. Thomas Lancaster
