About Me

Rose's beautiful singing and guitar playing has endeared her to audiences throughout the Orient and the United States. She was a frequent radio show guest in Olongapo City, Philippines, sang at major local events and appeared on national television. For 7 years Rose was in demand for singing engagements in the Philippines and in Japan, both as a soloist and in several folk groups.On August 14, 1984 Rose accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in her heart and joined Youth With a Mission. On December 20, 1986, she married Tom Schlater. They have been performing together across the United States ever since. In addition to their frequent performances for concerts, parties weddings and at restaurants, they have been active in the community. Rose frequently led the music during worship at the Filipino Christian Church in Norfolk, Va., at Forest Edge Church in Columbus, Oh., and at Grace Bible Church women's Bible study in Virginia Beach, Va.Rose and Tom have given hundreds of entertaining performances to enthusiastic acclaim in dozens of Retirement homes and Nursing homes over the last decade in Hampton Roads area. Senior citizens are as thrilled to hear Rose sing the famous songs of yester-year as they are captivated by her beautiful voice and entertaining stage presence. They love to sing along, get up and dance, and accompany her with the rhythm instruments that she brings.Rose started writing songs on 2003 when she was hospitalized for 4 days. God has given her new songs in her heart that she can never can imagined that she could write. Her son, Jason, helped her record her new CD "You are my All in All."

Florida gigs.

Tom and Rose are getting ready for their 2009 tour in Florida. They are presently staying in Oceana campground and will do a few more gigs in Hampton Roads area before they take off.

Tom turns 51!

May 25th was Tom's birthday. We played a gig that night on 23rd North in Atlantic. Everyone enjoyed our music and so did we. WE hope to see you on our next show, June 13, Friday at 7:30 PM.

Rose has been sick like a dog

We’re back to civilization!

Were moving!

We're moving to Fort Story campground on May 1. We will be staying there until May 15 and then we will be back at Little Creek campground.
