Pete Bombastic are a Spanish indie rock band based in Pamplona, who formed in 2008.
The five band members met in 2007 after a concert, soon becoming friends and starting to jam together.
In May 2009 the band won the X Music Composition Contest for Songwriters, an award given by the University of Navarre, where most of the members attend classes. The previous year the 98.3 FM radio station gave the audience a chance to claim its favorite play, and “The Amazing Supersonic Flumberts†won the so called prize.
In December 2008, Pete Bombastic began work on their debut album, recorded at Montreal Studios with producer Hans Krüger, known for his recent work with Half Foot Outside, Delorean and Twelve Dolls. The LP is expected to be released on September 2009.

Los cinco componentes se conocieron el 2007 después de un concierto. Pronto se hicieron amigos y empezaron a ensayar juntos.
En Mayo de 2009 el grupo ganó el X Certamen 'Pop-Rock/Cantautores', un premio otorgado por la Universidad de Navarra. El año anterior la 98,3 FM dió la oportunidad a los oyentes de votar por su actuación favorita. Pete Bombastic fue elegido por el tema “The Amazing Supersonic Flumbertsâ€.
En Diciembre de 2008 empezaron a trabajar en su álbum debut, grabado en Montreal Studios con el productor Hans Krüger, conocido por su reciente trabajo con Half Foot Outside, Delorean o Twelve Dolls. Se espera que el disco salga en Septiembre.
