It's sections like these which I agonise hour after long hour over, and somehow the finished product is never to my satisfaction. This is the third time I've attempted to revamp this section, so let's see how I fare this time around!
I'm Tash, and I'm 19 going on 20 this year - and I'm very much the perfectionist, as you can probably already tell! While I spent the last two years in Melbourne, Australia (and they were two kick-ass years!), Brunei is my home and I am currently on a psuedo-GAP year, working while waiting to enter university in London in September.
Among my eccentricities, I believe that llamas are the cutest animals ever, and country music is my favourite genre thankyouverymuch!
My parents think after my two-year stint in Melbourne, I dress like a bum. Hmpf. They don't understand that Havaianas are true high-end fashion accessories, and that brightly-coloured hoop earrings are the in-thing. They have also labelled my skinny jeans my "vacuum pants", heheh.
I'm into reading, although lately I've taken to spending my hard-earned money on trashy magazines... That having been said, my eyes still light up whenever I chance upon a really great read in a bookstore. I love Russian literature, and Steinbeck, and um, The Princess Diaries.
The simple things in life make me happy - whether it's viewing a really gorgeous sunset, cheap meals with a great bunch of friends, having good conversations over cheesecake and coffee, buying a really pretty dress, receiving lilies, the lamest joke, an unexpected phone call/message, beautiful harmonies, live music...
And of course, MIDORI. Happiness in a bottle! :P
"Affirmation" by Savage Garden sums up maybe 80% of my current beliefs. I believe that junk food tastes so good because it's bad for you. Have truer words ever been spoken?
