Exploding onto the scene is a popular way to describe any band. But with an explosion like that of a nailbomb, The Vampirates continue to leave their mark deep within your skin.

Formed in 2008, with familiar faces and fresh attitudes, this five-piece have not stopped to take a breath since they began their head turning sprint to the top. Within the first 6 months of their existence, on the back of a 3-track demo "The Treasure Chest", they have accomplished what many bands spend years striving for. A world class blend of chaos and melody, and an unpredictable live show that has earned them a strong local following, leading to supports both at home and nationally with hardcore heavyweights The Amity Affliction, Confession, House vs. Hurricane, Watch Your Step (Italy).... Impressing the right people along the way, they have forged a friendship in ex-Comeback Kid bassist, Kevin Call; onboard to produce their debut EP expected mid 2009.

With a successful year laid to rest, and a promising 2009 sailing into view, laden with many riches, The Vampirates are heading to a town near you to loot, plunder AND suck your blood!
