Hello, I'm Colin Smith and this is the band page for my one man band, Aether.
I'm 19, I live in Bandon, Oregon, in a crappy little apartment by myself. It's pretty boring. I do a lot of recording and I play guitar a ton. Also I listen to music almost constantly. Almost everything I do is related to music. My favorite bands are Cynic, Dark Fortress, Galneryus, and Behemoth. My favorite guitar players are Dimebag Darrell, Jason Becker, and Syu (Galneryus).
I do not drink or do drugs, I never have and never will. I am very militantly against drug and alcohol abuse. I look down on people who do either, unless they quit, in which case I will forgive them.
Also, I know a ton about metal, it's rare that anyone will mention a metal band I haven't at least heard of. I try to stay pretty up to date with the metal scene.
Other than that, I love my mom to death, she is my favorite person ever! I like reading about metal, like in Decibel Magazine, and I love drinking mint tea. Oh, and look up Dark Fortress and Galneryus if you don't already know them, they are both amazing!
