It was around the end of February of 2008 when Robert had just moved back to Louisiana. He had been living in Washington state for, I would like to say, six years. DJ and Dylan (brothers) had been playing music with each other and others for about seven years and come to find out, Robert was doing the same thing in Washington. Once he had moved down they all decided that they needed to get this band together. They were all sick and tired of moving all around from band to band, looking for a home. They had finally found their home. After only a few practices they had three songs "Trees Leaves", "Pink Butterflies", and "Sunshine." It has been almost a year now and still those songs remain. So after a few months of band practices they got their first gig as a group on June 17th, 2008 at the Mandeville Trace. It went well for a battle of the bands. Most thought spacesTOmars should have won but it wasn't the case for the judges. Even though they didn't place, the band felt that this was a start of something special. August came around and the band had almost an album of new songs when DJ and Dylan got a devastating call. Robert informed them that his family had to move back to Washington. Robert had said not to worry and that he shall return. DJ and Dylan had a few depressing months but knew the band shouldn't just die, they needed a fill-in drummer. They found that in Barry Maestri. After just a week of practice they booked two shows. One at the Green Room and the other on the big stage at the Howlin' Wolf. Both went fine. Now as the beginning of February approaches, the band got some show offers that they can't afford to miss. Hopefully it all works out as this power trio looks to give people a new sound to listen to.
