The Wampus Cats Mess was founded in 2007 by a group of individuals who wished to give an accurate portrayel of a Federal soldier from 1861-1865.Since then,we have grown into a dual impression unit portraying soldiers of both sides during the American Civil War with equal accuracy and honor.The war ended 145 years ago and we do not focus on political views,but instead on honoring all who served in the War Between the States.Authenticity is our virtue and we are always striving to improve our impressions in any way that will allow us to more accurately portray the brave men who fought in the war.It is also our hope that by doing this,we may inspire others to further their impression and learn more also.We currently have members in states such as Tennessee,North Carolina,Virginia,and Pennsylvania.We attend events year round in these states,and others.We come together at these events to accurately portray the fighting men of 1861-1865.CHECK OUT OUR WEBSITE AT www.wampuscatsmess.org
