Here I go again. I find it difficult to write about myself and describe me without being subjective... of course I would only like to put here the good things and that is probably what I am going to do.
Well the easy part first! I was born and raised in Lima-Peru (July 4th is my birthday!! probably destined to live here in USA from my very birth). A physician (MD) by education graduated from UPCH Medical School (Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Facultad de Medicina Humana Alberto Hurtado) in Lima in 1993, also became a Firefighter the same year in my hometwon Barranco (Compañia de Bomberos Grau 16 - Barranco)...a very exciting way to spend my free time.
People say that I am a very easy going guy. I love honesty... I have always done! And even though I went through phases in which I wasn't as honest as I would have liked to and as a consequence I hurt people I loved... I managed to be back to my honest being.
I moved to NYC in 1997 driven by different motives, one of them was LOVE. Yes I fell in love with a New Yorker and I spent the following 6 years with him... his name was Angel and he basically was and still is my ANGEL. So far I have no plans to move from here!. I love living in New York City and being part of "the capital of the world", the financial center of the world, the city that dictates trends in fashion and art. Living in NYC has had an impact in my lifestyle and in me as a person.
Curently working for the YMCA of greater New York, as the Director of the Residence Department of the Jamaica YMCA branch in Queens, where we provide housing and services to homeless people with different needs, including mental health issues, HIV/AIDS and Substance Abuse.
Currently in a new relationship, after 4 years of being single and several dating experiences, I finally seem to have found a really good guy to stand by my side. Time will tell what will happen, but for now Jonathan makes me very happy!
So many "coincidences" happened during my life, and also I have lived through many tought experiences that made me who I am now...that now I really believe that EVERYTHING happens for a reason in life; I have no doubt about it.
In my spare time, away from the responsibilities linked to my job, I like dancing, and here in NYC I discovereed the real mega clubs with the hottest, sexiest, coolest men in the world..... I miss the ROXY, and now I miss Stero NYC where I have spend many Saturday nights, but looking forward to continue with WORK at the new venue... Discotecque!! If you go there, most probably you'll see me dancing. ALEGRIA is my favorite party and probably that qualifies me as a circuit partier :-) no regrets!
I love the summer, especially when I am at the beach, and Fire Island has been my escape from the city every other weekend from May to October for the past 3 summers (2005-2006-2007).
