Originally, ZHAN was a mythical land broughtto life through the music of one of its founding members. It's heavy, pounding beat and rockin' lyrics proved to be just what the '80's was looking for and ZHAN soon became popular in the NYC club scene as house band for such clubs as Escapades (in it's hometown, Jersey City, New Jersey), the Cat Club, Sanctuary and Zone DK.
Their popularity grew and, as with any band, inner conflicts emerged. The original members of ZHAN may have changed over the years, but the love of music has always shone through.
