June's Song of the Month

Just a quick post before sleepy time.  I posted "How Much Will You Give Me?" with the new title "What's a Little Dishonesty?" about a week ago and never blogged about it.  But yeah, it's there.  It's ...

Change of Song

After 815 different arrangements, I've finally decided that "Trick" just doesn't want to come together, so I'm tossing it out.  The good news is that I realized it early enough in the month that I sta...

Looks Like I Lied Again

Aren't I a constant disappointment?  I have a cold, so no recording vocals for me this weekend.  Sorry.  I'll get those new "Colors" vocals up soon and I'll record "Trick" sometime in June.  I can't w...

May's Song of the Month

Hooray For Setbacks!

As you may have noticed, I didn't manage to get a song up in January.  The truth is that my computer is currently down.  Hopefully it'll be back up shortly.  As soon as it is, I'll get back to work on...

December’s Song of the Month

This month's SoM is up now.  "My Darling Ruin" is the one ska-punk song on the record.  Damn, it's hard to break old habits.  It's also a re-recorded Song Fight song.  Anyway, I ho...

November’s Song of the Month

I just posted "Maybe It's Time" as November's Song of the Month.  Once again, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.  This is going to be the last song on the album and I think it's pr...

September’s Song of the Month

Well, "Maybe It's Time" has gone through approximately 872 different arrangements (much like I thought).  The one I have in my head right now may be the one, but I didn't get a chance to lay it d...
