About Me

*I am a FOLLOWER...I am persuaded that God bought my ilfe and redeemed it for a purpose and I am intent on living out his divine purpose for me. NO MATTER what it takes! That usually comes down to the reality that I need to change daily! Lots of times dailiy. It is hard. It is scary. It is all about believing and trusting something and someone that you can't see touch or audibly hear. But in the deepest part of me I know that IT IS WORTH IT!
*I serve on staff with community of believers in a congregation called Christ United Methodist Church. I believe it is the closest thing I have ever seen to the church that the bible shares about in Acts 2. We really love each other. We are not perfect. We won't give up give up trying to be the people God called us to be.
*I serve alongside the best people that I have ever met. From our Children's Ministry & Big House to Refuge... from Pastor...to support and administrative staff to Prayer teams and musicians and vocalists...they are all people I am proud to stand beside, call my friends, family and I am so privileged to be able lay down my life with them.
*I have not always been a follower of Jesus...I spent most of my life FAR from that... God gave me a new life...a new heart...hope for tomorrow...and strength for the journey!
*I have THE BEST TEENAGERS...don't ask me how it happened...I'm just thankful it did. I call it GOD'S GRACE!
*I love music. Love it....Did I say I LOVE IT! Music can touch my heart and release emotions in me I never knew existed.
*My husband is the funniest, most loyal, committed person ever. I am definately keeping him.
*I am changing...Thank God. Slowly but surely.
*I think I might be distracted alot...I'm not so sure about this whole A.D.D. thing...it could be a fad you know...I do find myself think about 4236498734 things at the same time regularly...it's usually an enjoyable experience...unless I would like to accomplish something.
I THINK I am hilarious and I tell my friends that fact all of the time! They think I am funny a lot less than I do...but if you can't laugh at yourself...Who can you laugh at? Life is way too short to take yourself too seriously!

I'd like to meet:

One Day...I WILL meet Jesus face to face. He freely gave himself for me a long time before I even cared about him. I was hostile to him. And my sin...my own desires... held him to the cross...He could have chosen another way..but he remained steadfast and purchased me there.

This side of heaven I would like to meet...Believers who are SICK of the status quo and ready to be brave for CHRIST. Anyone who is willing to take a chance and believe that what God has planned for them is bigger, better, more beautiful and outrageous than anything they could ever want or imagine for themselves.

Music:

Love laid back acoustic/non-generic artists. Tom Conlon is a favorite. Oh Yea..And Reese (he is this guitar player worship leader friend of mine and everytime he plays guitar it breaks down all my "junk"...it's a GOD thing) ...I've been listening to this cool band called The Glorious Unseen...They are chilled out...

Recently...16 Blocks, Cinderella Man, Chronicles of Narnia, Stay, CRASH

Television:

TV is DUMB! But I still dig it. Monday Night Footbal with my Hubby is the best!

Books:

Heroes:

Jesus...I am not sure that I would be willing to lay down my life for people who hate me...but he did. Definately worthy of HERO status. My Kids...they are the most mature resilient people I know. My husband...he lives with me and still loves me. He is kind and compassionate and loves...yes really loves being married to me. I think he is better than perfect!!
