They recorded and rehearsed at Northeast Sound Studio's and played in and around the Boston area. Clubs included The Rat, The Channel, The Paradice, Cantones, Mr. C's Rock Palace, Bunratty's, The Forge, and Jumping Jack Flash for starters. Some of their originals were Black Roses, City's are sleeping, Rip Saw, Friends and Curtins are some. Sweet Evil lasted about one and a half years. Bob reformed a new band and took over lead vocals as well-----New England Musician ------ NOV/DEC 1982----- Writes------ "Sweet Evil one of our fave Heavy Metal bands have reformed. Lead guitarist/songwriter Bob Woodbury is now handling the vocals as well. He's recruted some new soldiers, has a very competent manager in Joe Grasia, and is back on the scene."Joe got us in Aerosmith's Warehouse to record a five song demo on their 8 track board(big deal back then), played the same clubs and broke up after one and a half years again.At this point Bob got married, and soon had two daughters, Erin and Tara. a while later was a single parent and too busy for the next twenty five years for public music.UNTILL NOW!!! "2008"25 years later Erin and Tara are out of college and in their mid 20'sTara set up this Myspace Music for me and puts up the music. April 12, 2008 we put up Music Store a quick recording from a friends house. (pretty rough)Next Big b went to a Boston area studio to write and record almost by himself ( I'll give credit in bloggs) " I Wanna Tattoo of You", "All Fired Up", and "Voodoo Queen" A new tune " Young n Trashy" is in the works! A full CD is the goal.My home studio is almost done where I'll get a band ready for club gigs soon.I can't believe Myspace Music and the recording studio's these days. Alot has changed in 25 years. It has only been a few weeks but I've met so many cool people.
