Mohsin Arshad 19 years of age, currently living in Glasgow Scotland, been brought up in Glasgow since the age of one, looking to progress in media productions, ambitious to bring out Hip-hop to the streets of UK, There is not much that I could say about myself that will make me any better from you people reading my life just now. It’s just all about my life, everything really is all related to my life, and it has to be because that’s what motivates me to write rhythm and poetry, in this round world that we live in, nobody wants to hear you, and if there is anybody, then they want to hear what they want to hear you know not actually what you want them to listen to and understand, So I decided to take a different approach towards life towards this world..I decided to live! Not let be lived! I write, you want to call it poetry, or just straight up simple rap you decide. I’ve been writing since a young age, about nine or ten I was writing decent enough poetry’s for competitions in my primary school, or just write to pass my time at home, basically anytime that I would get with paper and pen I would always write, any sort of words that would rhyme I liked it. I enjoyed it. Maybe then it never made to much sense to me, but as I grew up I started to understand things much better with my age with my experiences I learned allot more and now everything that I believe I know makes perfect sense to me, Through my life time at High School chilling with my mates listening to rap, mainly commercial rap like (R.I.P) Tupac Shakur, Bonethugs and all the other rappers of 80’s 90’s. But the Commercial beef of G-unit that stuff never really diverted my attention towards it because according to me Rapping about bling and money, girls and cars, anybody can do that but it takes allot to rap about things that listeners would appreciate and can relate to their own lives. You can relate what I’m saying to some of the Tupac Shakur songs, I believe a rapper or a poet should write to bring across what they feel and make other people feel what they feel, you know it’s about bringing forward your thoughts and feelings. Back to myself as InsoHmniaxe, I’ll explain how it works out ok... As you should know by now my name is Mohsin, so what I done was related my name to the word insomnia, for the simple fact I have trouble sleeping, and if you take your time to notice the alphabets that make my name also make the word insomnia, the only alphabet missing is the H and that’s where the editing comes in, I just simply put the H in and axe to give a strong meaning to it. My first song that I’ve put on MySpace relates to my life without father, and a simple shout out to my mother, it was done under the influence of DMR, he came up with this idea, a subject to write on to rap on and here it is now produced by Koncrete Beatz, (Be Thankful) What to keep your ears cleaned for!
