Who is Dangerous Productions?
At the helm of Dangerous Productions is Gavin Danger. He has been performing for nearly a decade around the United States and Europe. This trip began after many years of performing with a drag king troupe in Columbus Ohio. This experience left him craving something more so he decided to venture out and start his very own production company. In 2006 Gavin drew up contracts, wrote bylaws, created a logo, teamed up with Mason Dickson and Dangerous Productions was born. There are many individuals who help Gavin put on these types of productions and without them this adventure would not be possible.
What Dangerous Productions does?
Dangerous Productions provide a compilation of gender bending performances tempting those to expand their minds and to change the norms surrounding the drag scene. Dangerous Productions is primarily a king based production company; however we welcome anyone and everyone who is positive with a genuine interest in gender expression. Since the conception of DP, we have wooed audiences with diversity and flare. We have been known to do just about anything to entertain a crowd. From campy to crazy and even serious to sexy we have done it all.Our Motto has always been: “It’s good to be king, however it’s better to have a full court!â€
What about the future?
The goal is to provide a progressive forum for all of the mediums of gender expression. It is in our hopes to project a positive image and an aggression free zone for performers to come and express themselves. We welcome kings, queens, burlesque and everyone in between.
