Lace Payne is a Boston street vet whose lack of commercial sucess has been held back by the harsh realities of life. Repping the blocks of Roxbury and Dorchester Mass, he emerged on the scene in the mid 90's as one half of the group
"Life Sentence" ; alongside Evic.
In 2002 he signed to the Boston/New York based label Greede Records. The labels roster also included D.One who has since formed an unbreakable bond with Lace. Lace Payne and D.One left the label in 2003 and collaborated on "Headshots" from D.One's debut solo album "Dvisione" in 2004.
Lace is featured on seven tracks from D.One's new project "Second Nature".
