The Whatmans

"The Whatmans" joined in the Autumn of 2007. The band are John Brennan on vocals, Padar Mulvey on guitar and backing vocals, Francis "Frany" Mcginn on bass and Aidan Carolan on drums....The boys went straight to the studio and recorded the "Soldier" demo which featured three songs, Soldier, Mr.Blue Suit and Here It Come which followers of the band know well and like to fill the air with on drunken gig nights...The band have played venues all across the country from "The Summer Indie Festival" in the west, to "The Backroom Sessions" in Navan, to "The Sugar Club" and "Eamonn Dorans" in Dublin,to name a few.... The band have headlined many of these venues as well as playing support to acts such as The Things and The Coronas..... As part of the Le Cheile festival 2008, the band headlined The Backroom Session stage....Next on the agenda is the release of their EP entitled "Follow Me", which the boys have promised is filled with three more anthems.It will be released in September 08.. Also, "The Whatmans" headline Whelans in Dublin{August 16th} and play suppport to "The Flaws" in The Backroom Sessions, Navan{September 12th} where huge crowds promise to sell out both shows...Watch this space for more gig listings.
