About Me

Bryony strums forth singing passionate tales of aching hearts, fear and love. With her close companion by her side, Lizzy O Connor brings magical harmonies, lilting mandolin and banjo. Pulled from the world of Rockabilly Eddie Edwards slaps, slides and bows his way through the music adding a twist of Americana, Magnus churns the songs with quicken the heart beats, and the finely moustachioed Gary Bridgewood weaves a majestic, mad song through the hundred years of his trusty violin.
Myspace Layouts‘'Sailorette are your next burgeoning folk crush. Think Noah and the Whale without the occassional cringe-worthy angst, or Lightspeed Champion with Joni Mitchell on lead vocals, but with a heart so deeply rooted in traditional English folk they'd probably slap us silly for both of those comparisons. Check out Labour of Love on their Myspace and try not to swoon into a coma’’NME Jan '09
