Since I'm a composer, I study the music while I listen, and try to incorporate elements to my own style.

I never liked to read for leisure. I only read to learn something, acquire information or scripts for acting. So I guess text books, encyclopedias, and other referrence books are my thing. But I prefer them all in digital format.
I love stuff on Mozart, Einstein, & Stephen Hawkings .
Movies:
Amadeus, Goodfellas, The Godfather Trilogy, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Spiderman Trilogy, Forrest Gump, Color Purple, Scarface, Se7en, Dogma, Princess Bride, Star Wars Saga, Matrix Trilogy, Dangerous Liasons, Glory, Bruce Almighty.
In addition to the movies above, I like most Academy Award winning films. I love to watch how movies are made and study the performances of various actors.
Television:
Battlestar Galactica, Dead Zone, Dead Like Me, Six Feet Under, Universe, Honeymooners, Three's Company, Raymond, Friends, Taxi, Married With Children, Whose Line, Smallville, Mind of Mencia & most Star Treks.
I like to watch TV Series on DVD, one season at a time. Otherwise, I go to the History Channel & Animal Planet.
