About Me

Please contribute to the "Tower of Babel" International Poetry Contest on this page. See blog link above.I hope the following quotes reveal something about my character (or lack thereof!):"One must conform to the baseness of an age or become neurotic." Robert Musil"Given the choice between betraying my country and betraying my friend, I hope I would have the courage to betray my country." E.M. Forster

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Among the dead (but immortal), I'd like to meet Vaslav Nijinsky,Russian dancer, right after the audience rioted at premiere of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring in Paris, 1913, to ask him what it was like on the stage, knowing he was creating something radically new and important but enraging audience in the process.Among the living, I'd like to meet people with a strong interest in the arts -- especially Literature -- and politics. Of course, I'm also interested in chatting with anyone else who feels prompted, or provoked, by anything they find on this page.
