Pei-Hsin Kao, a pianist from Taiwan, is currently pursuing a Master Degree in Piano at the Peabody Conservatory in the US. Pei-Hsin has traveled in Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Russia, and performed in music festivals such as "The Taiwan Music Festival of 1999", "In ost Friesland 16. Musikalischer Sommer Concerten", "...Anima La Musica Music Camp 2002", and "Tambov Music Festival".
She has performed in several solo master classes with Tatiana Pikayzen, Marie Laure Muller, Boris Lvov, Mikhail Kollontay, V. Sakharov, A. Greene, and Daniel Shapiro. She has also performed in master classes for piano four-hands with Jerry Wong and Stephanie Shih-Yu Cheng and piano quintet with Ivan Chan and Boris Slutsky.
Pei-Hsin also has many musical interests. She played violin for 7 years as a minor instrument and held the principal position in a symphony orchestra, and performed the Mozart Violin Concerto solo in the concert. She played mandolin in the Mandolin Orchestra and had the chance to perform in the performance tour of ChiMei Corportation Mandolin Orchestra in the "Ten-Year Anniversary Concert Series". She has collaborated on duos for violin, viola, cello, clarinet, basson, and accompanied in concerts.
