Yeah Baby!

About Me

I'm pretty quiet but can chat on just about any subject. I am as superficial as I am intense and find stimulating dialogue can be equally as orgasmic as shopping for shoes and jewelry on a no limit credit card.I live my life very single. I absolutely love 'LOVE' but marriage for me is a tad bit over rated. I have many happily married friends who are crazy in love and many who have gone through bitter divorces.I enjoy horseback riding, beach volleyball, ice skating, cycling, rollerblading, fencing, traveling, capoiera and tap. I have the most fun playing any kind of board games with my friends after a festive dinner. (I have really wonderful, crazy-as-all-get-out friends).I have no idea how I would survive life without music and dancing. I do it daily! No joke! I love to sleep in the middle of the day. My favourite places are cuddled up with my lover in a candlelit room or lying alone on a bed of white sand with crystal blue liquid ice kissing my toes and warm orange passion rays caressing my skin.

My Interests

CRYSTAL THERAPY I collect crystals in their natural form or cut and polished.YOGA I've been practicing for more than five years...I swear by it! It has saved me from kicking lots of asses - breathe - and has kept mine looking nothing short of great.PHOTOGRAPHY My favourite is black and white but I work with colour as well. I have a small dark room where I practice the art of processing negatives and prints of shots I take with my 35mm camera...yes I know everyone's digital!!!FOREIGN LANGUAGES One day I may actually settle down to studying my favourites - Hebrew and Italian. For the most part I find I start and stop and well when I start again the vocabulary's lost. Somehow I never forget the bad words in any language though...FUCK!...what's that about?

I'd like to meet:

My soul mate(s). Janet Jackson. Queen Rania Al Abdullah. Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Amy Pascal. Bill Clinton. Michael Jackson. Rupert Murdoch. Prince. You!

Music:

I love reggae (or any tropical/exotic flavour); soulful jazz; junkanoo; calypso; soca; rake and scrape; zouk; hip hop; gospel; r & b...you name it. I just love music 'cause it paints the many colours of me!

Movies:

ANYTHING THAT I CREATE...but I also love foreign flicks and independents. Drama, action adventure, musical...just so long as it's good quality filmmaking with a strong and soulful story. Not so big on horror or sci-fi but can do suspense thrillers and mysteries. This past year I've had the blockbuster vip service. That combined with theatre hopping allowed me to do my catch-up-on-films-marathon. I've enjoyed (in no particular order)...Before and After (check it out this fall!!!); Malena; Babette's Feast; Crash; Lord of the Rings (all installments); Pirates of the Caribbean (all installments - or anything with fine ass Johnny Depp); Life is Beautiful; Driving Miss Daisy; A Very Long Engagement; Mrs Henderson Presents (one of my Judi Dench favourites); Little Children; Children of Men; Inside Man; Hotel Rwanda; Last King of Scotland; Little Miss Sunshine; Maria Full of Grace; Harry Potter (all installments); Dreamgirls; Shakespeare in Love; The Sixth Sense; Water; The Green Mile; Y Tu Mama Tambien; The Notebook; Fried Green Tomatoes; Amelie (I like all of Audrey Tautou's work); The English Patient; Music and Lyrics; The Queen; Stomp Da Yard...soooooo many wonderful stories so little space.Worked on a really fun comedy short with a fabulous cast and crew called "Before and After". Thought I'd share some flicks...

Television:

The Heinz Commercial was great fun to work on. Jeremiah Jones, the Director, is a dream to work with. He's focused, has a clear vision, knows how to lead his team to a quality product and all with a mad cool energy. Thanks for having me as a part of the project.

KTLA Morning News/Show; Cops; the new "star search" shows...American Idol; So You Think You Can Dance? and America's Next Top Model; Lost; Desperate Housewives; Everybody Hates Chris; Curb Your Enthusiasm; Friends (over and over again); According to Jim; Reno 911; Ugly Betty; My Name is Earl; Grey's Anatomy; Best Week Ever...I don't get to watch much tv...lol!

Books:

"Naked" David Sedaris; "Love" Dr. Leo Buscaglia; "Letters to a Young Poet" Rainer Maria Rilke; "Smart Women Finish Rich" David Bach; "Creating Affluence" Deepak Chopra
You Belong in Paris
Stylish and expressive, you were meant for Paris.
The art, the fashion, the wine!
Whether you're enjoying the cafe life or a beautiful park...
You'll love living in the most chic place on earth. What City Do You Belong In?This is funny 'cause it tells me that I belong in Paris and I do attract the french but if I had to 'belong' anywhere in the world other than the Bahamas I'd much prefer Italy...

Charity begins at home...the above charities are close to my heart because the causes they fight hit very close to home. This year I walked with thousands of cancer survivors and those whose family and friends have battled (some won and some lost) the disease. In honour of my grandmother, who won her battle against cancer and in memory of my aunt, who lost but rests in peace. Race for the cure... www.revlonrunwalk.com ...I also attended a wonderful event called DIVABETICS that raises awareness of diabetes. It was awesome and eye opening. If you have not heard of it please check out the link and be sure to attend the event when the train rolls through your city... www.divabetic.orgYAPHATHTOAR ACADEMY OF DRAMATIC ARTS...
