It was one of those bright and sunny weekdays back in 2003 when Kenabis walked into C.B.W. for and interview with my then manager, we'll just call him bitchnipple. Kenabis was driving in a maroon 1978 Chevy Impala that had a huge pile of ashes in the floor, since at the time there was no ash tray. Kenabis was hired and started working next to me as a cashier. Every day I would write these little notes to Laurie, who would then show them to Kenabis, at which point the three of us would be laughing hysterically. Customers would get a look on their faces like they were going to defecate in their pants if we didn't tell them what was so gott damn funny. Usually it was something about one of them, which we could unfortunately not share for the risk of losing our employment. One day Kenabis got a phone call from his guitar player, Tobias wanting to know about band practice that weekend. When I found out about their band, I told Kenabis that I played drums, and he invited me to come jam with them. Eventully I replaced their drummer, became best friends with Kenabis and Tobias, and we started Mary Jane's Mayhem. And we all lived crappily ever after. The End
