About Me

I've been writing and performing in the Detroit area since the early 1980s. Bands have included The Good Catholic Boys, Third Row Balcony, The Freemasons, The Masons (of detroit), Gravel Train, Sunken Road, The Salt Miners, Vivandiere, WEI, and currently in The Red Butlers as well as some solo gigs. I've also sat in on bass, guitar, mandolin, accordion, and singing for far too many other bands. I've performed on the same stage with some of the best talent imaginable (Robbie Fulks, The Bottle Rockets, Southern Rock Allstars, Phil Lee, Pat DiNizio, 16 Horsepower, Marah), and have received a few nods for my songwriting and music production work. I'll be posting songs that I wrote, from those bands mentioned as well as new demos, regularly on this site. All songs copyrighted through Rock of Chickamauga Publishing Company.

How Bluegrass Are You? Your Result: Ultimate Bluegrasser You've been singing Flatt & Scruggs since you were in diapers. You can pick a guitar, banjo, fiddle, dobro, mandolin, and a bass (and if you can't you should!) Your custom modified camper with the banjo shaped door handles adds a nice touch. Keep it going, Bill would be proud!
