Seattle Sounders FC supporters page
Seattle Sounders FC is the 15th team to join the MLS and will begin play on March 19th, 2009. Seattle was awarded the expansion team November 13th, 2007. The announcement provided a continuation to a long standing soccer tradition in Seattle that has included the Seattle Sounders of the North American Soccer League from 1974 until 1983 and the USL First Division team Seattle Sounders who played from 1994-2008.
