How it came to be:
Spoon and I (RedThreadDIY) are an engaged couple from Commerce Township and Novi, Michigan. We wanted to create DIYscene.com because I had so many questions when teaching myself how to sew, and didn’t have the proper resources to ask! Spoon suggested that we create an online forum for this subject, so we did. It was a lot of work, but it has definitely been worth it. DIYscene.com was finally launched on August 12, 2007.
We have created one of the first online forums solely devoted to the discussion of DIY clothing, crafts, and projects, and tackle the idea of DIY (Do-It-Yourself) from all angles at DIYscene.com. Whether you are already a DIY-er, Crafter, Reseller, Buyer, or are interested in becoming one, you will find useful information and others with similar interests here at DIYscene.com.
We are dedicated to the users and members of the forum, and want to continue to grow and improve the site as much as possible. We love hearing suggestions and they are always welcomed.
