Hello, my name is Savannah and I'm a proud mother of some of the sweetest children that you could ever meet. Their names are Avery, Madison & Hayden. Of course most parents think that they have the sweetest kids!
I wasn't a victim growing up but I was a victim of mental abuse later on in life. Read it in my blog if you like. I grew up in a very loving family and it's hard to believe that not every child has that kind of life. A life where they are loved each and every day and receive hugs and kisses but for some, their life they live in fear of when the next slap or the next time they will get yelled at for no reason. It breaks my heart each time I turn on the television or radio and here of some child being abused by a loved one.
We all need to come together and put an end to child abuse. Children are our future and we need to keep our children safe. Without children, we have no future!!
So I ask of you if you know someone who's being abused, please call the proper authorities. It could save someones life!
Mother's and wives... if you are a victim of spousal abuse, don't think that it doesn't affect your children, because it does. You can only hide the bruises for so long before they see or someone else sees them. You have a voice! Use it! Speak Out! You don't have to live in fear and pain. Love shouldn't hurt!
