Friends of the World Food Program is dedicated to ending world hunger. We work in the United States to build support for the World Food Program (WFP) - the United Nations' lead humanitarian agency for hunger solutions. Our minds tell us we can end world hunger. Our hearts tell us we cannot wait. As Friends of WFP, we unite organizations and individuals committed to solving world hunger. Our education, advocacy, and fundraising efforts in the U.S. support WFP's lifesaving global food assistance and development programs.
Every year, WFP feeds an average of 90 million people, two-thirds of them children, in 80 countries. But the needs of the world’s hungry are greater than WFP’s resources. To continue and expand WFP’s work to feed the hungry, we need your help!
