Fhievel (Luca Bergero) was born in Italy in 1980.
If his electronic engineering studies helped his meeting with algorhytmic composition at the same time they gave way to his crisis about tecnology, pushing him to concrete sound. That’s why in his works he is deeply involved in the research of balance between opposite sound sources.
Apart from is solo works and impro-collaborations he uses sound design for films, videos and contemporary art exhibions. Some of them, realized for the project Cooperazione bowman, have been presented in different collective exhibitions like Convergenze at Fondazione Pistoletto (Biella) and Empowerment at Villa Croce museum (Genova).
In 2005 he found LeafSoundDesign with Luca Sigurtà , a project dedicated to sound art and site specific works.
In 2007 they presented “La Fabbrica e la sua voce - trame sonore dell’industria tessile†a site specific work at the important Italian industrial museum ‘La fabbrica della ruota’.
He works with the film director Manuele Cecconnello, for him he realized different soundtracks, in particular: Venti (2003), Nacquane (2004), SIS (2006).
He is actually attending a musictherapy course at APIM school (Turin).
