ORIGAMI - band from Russia
The band started in 2001 when two recent schoolboys Max (vocal) and Alex (drums) decided to make a band influenced by the nu-metal stars all around them. As fans of Limp Bizkit, Korn e. t. c. theyve found bass guitar-player, guitar-player and dj to do music.First show as Origami has taken place 6 of april 2002. Since then a lot of gigs were played. Some members came, some left.In 2004 summer DIY demo was recorded and distributed by the band itself. Now it could be downloaded from the official web-site www.origami.nm.ru By that time Origami style have been changed a lot because of new influences of its members groups like Lost Propthets, The Used, Thursday, Glassjaw and so on.The first Origami album called «When lies turned true» has been released in October 2005 at the independent label MDU Production and already got positive comments from musical critics all over the European part of Russia.
