MAGGOT - How I got the TAG*********************************** One day, in a parking lot, hangin' with my buds, I got into it with a police officer. We was goin' at it purty good - u know - jawin' away. My buds - they was enjoyin' the show & all. So anyway at one point I reckon I better git outta this fore I git busted. So I turned to walk away when the officer come up behind me, put his left hand on my shoulder to stop me & sticks his face over my right shoulder & screams right in my ear "YOU...YOU... LITTLE MAGGOT" Well they all thought that was kinda funny & started in alaughin'. I think the officer mighta fergot they was all there, he was purty red in the face an all & u could see the veins in his neck apoppin' out, but when they started laughin he turned to them. And that's when my friend John Matta steps forward an says "Ah! But he's a LOVELY LITTLE MAGGOT, isn't he?" The tag stuck & I been Maggot ever since. I kinda like it, u know? Stange thing was the officer's name was Moles - like the kind that dig holes in yer yard. I come up with the Bethel Boys - a gang of renegade misfits if u ever saw such. Good folks but lots a trouble. Some's gone to jail, some's heroin & such addicts, some's died in all manner of stupidity. God Bless Y'all. Live Free or Die. Love Maggot
