The project THREE BLIND MICE was founded in 2004 by Basti, Mario, Sascha, Bene, Lukas and Tim. They all come from Siegburg, Germany, and are connected through a long friendship. Together with their friend Alex, owner of the bar CASBAH, they had the idea to share their passion for Reggae and Worldmusic with other people.
The first Reggae and Worldmusic Party took place at CASBAH’S in August 2004. Only trough word-of-mouth propaganda and of course with the private CD collection of Bene, Basti and Tim this night turned out to be really great.Crowned with success and motivated by this rush demand they started organising several parties in the Siegburg area, like in STATION-BAR, CAVE, SCHÜTZENHAUS.
Arranging Aftershow Parties of the Crazy Night for groups like ONE TRIBE, CHUPACABRAS and CLERKS new clubs in Bonn (SESSIONS, CARPE, NACHTSCHICHT, NYX) and Maastricht (BACKSTAGE) showed great interest in TBM.Beside their verve for parties THREE BLIND MICE are big fans of live music. Inspired by numerous concerts and festivals they and DJ ASTAMATITOS arranged live gigs for LOCOMONDO from Athens in 2006. These events were supported by the notable radiostation
FUNKHAUS EUROPA. At PANTHEON in Bonn they organised a concert for the german Reggea star NOSLIW.Also in the future THREE BLIND MICE will of course celebrate their extraordinary passion for Reggae, Dancehall, Ska, Mestizo, Dub, Gypsy and Balkanmusic at parties, concerts, tours and festivals - with everybody interested and together with friends of nice music!
