And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. -Daniel 2:40 _______________ Heed the tale of a martyred prophet who led a loyal band of warrior poets to overthrow a tyrannical dictator... In a lost land long ago, there were a cluster of villages in which life consisted of industrial slavery. Peaceful farmers, gardeners, and poets were caught in the wicked grip of a cruel ruler. This ruler forced the poor workers of the field to pay homage to his government via donating ever-increasing amounts of their crops to the rich ruling class. These villages were ruled by vicious warrior tribes which were under the control of scholars and priests that worked for the wicked yet powerful king. At the center of the conflict between the poor and the rich stood the IRONWORKERS. They dealt with both the warrior tribes and the farmers, for the IRONWORKERS smelted both gardening and farming tools as well as weapons of war (Micah 4:3). This guild was established to honor a fallen, MARTYRED PROPHET and what he stood for when he unified the IRONWORKERS of three villages into one cohesive, unbreakable unit which eventually dominated the countryside and restored peace to the land by way of liberating the lives of poor farmers and poets whose crafts struggled to breathe under the heel of a greedy emperor and his savage henchmen. ____________________________ LEGEND OF THE MARTYRED PROPHETStonefingers, known as such due to the many hours of ironworking which left his hands course and calloused, originated as a farmer in the first village. He was blessed enough to have been taught the art of making both instruments of life and death. He in turn taught this craft to others and formed a guild, starting with his close comrades which were a farmer known as Sevenslove and a gardener known as the Sureshot.Stonefingers was often troubled by the way the warrior tribes which policed the first village treated those that they believed were beneath them, namely the artisans, poets, farmers, and gardeners. He was a respected member of the community and considered the link between the rich ruling class and poor working class but not many were informed as to his origins as a worker of the field.Gradually rage grew in the ironworker, who could no longer stand to see the poor people of his community oppressed and forced to give up more and more of their crops every year as tribute to the king. ________________________ The man with stone hands was in the position of dealing with both sides of the community, the upper class of warrior tribes, priests, and scholars and the lower class of farmers, poets, and artisans. He was skilled in creating both lifegiving tools of the field and destructive weapons of war.His first two disciples were the Sureshot, who was trained to be a masterful archer, and Sevenslove, who was trained to be a swordsman. They quickly learned that their daily chores were nothing more than training for combat. Thus the first chapter of the guild was born...Not long after another disciple, a warrior poet from the second village known as the Quiet Storm, was added to the guild. In his travels as a stealthy assassin he had crossed paths with the priests and warriors of both the second and third villages.Through his many assault missions, the Quiet Storm had befriended another warrior poet by the name of Relik...Relik's older sibling, known only as the Merciful Killer, was member of the warrior class of the third village and worked closely with one of the villages priests, Stone Messiah. It didnt take much to convince the priest and the two warrior brothers to defect from the wicked rule of the king...this completed the Inner Circle of Seven: Stonefingers, the Sureshot, Sevenslove, the Quiet Storm, Relik, the Merciful Killer, and Stone Messiah...and effectively united the guilds of the three villages. Join the Brotherhood...our numbers grow every day!
