About Me
Jessica Jaques is a native of Lafayette, Indiana. While growing up, she spent much of her time surrounded by music---learning piano, violin, guitar, participating in the music programs at her school and church and heading up an all-female quartet. Upon graduation, the next step for Jessica was to study her three loves-music, theatre and dance--at Webster Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St. Louis, MO where she received a B.F.A. in musical theatre. After building a solid foundation for her craft, Jessica began her career in New York, working mostly in musical theatre in shows such as South Pacific, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat (North Carolina Theatre), As Bees in Honey Drown (Repertory Theatre of Saint Louis), and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Detroit and Myrtle Beach Companies). Seeking sunnier weather, Jessica relocated to Los Angeles where she currently is exploring the realm of film, television and music. Musically, she has sung with Groove 66 at Disney's California Adventure, with the Agape International Choir, on various soundtracks and demos, as a backing vocalist for live musicians, as well as solo for private events and weddings. As an actor, Jessica has appeared in various commercials, print ads and episodics. Jessica's musical strengths lie in her versatility of style, ability to sight read and learn new music quickly, her dexterity singing complex harmonies, her understanding of theory and composition and her professionalism.
