About Me

The Tapes are a quartet of life-long friends who started making music in 2005 after a trip to Cornerstone Music Festival. After releasing their debut EP entitled, "The Wave of the Future," in early 2006, they made their way out to play cornerstone that summer.

In April 2008, The Tapes released their first and final LP entitled "Out of the Great Black Swamp" whose name originates from the murky black swamp in which their hometown was built on. To purchase the album online click the album below.
