From the age of 2, Katie Parr (solo member of Bella Rocks!) has been no stranger to performing on stage. With church musicals, a variety of school and community theatre productions, and special music groups, Katie found her passion for music, acting, and the creative arts.
When Katie discovered the vampire world of Stephenie Meyer, she knew the story was pleading to be sung about. Her first Bella Rocks! song, “Immortal Beloved†was met with amazing response, which led her to continue penning songs based on the series. Katie’s first Bella Rocks! album, “Diary of a Forks Girl†was released at the end of the summer 2008. "Nostalgia", Katie's sophomore album, was most recently released in June '09.
In the past year, "Bella Rocks" has been featured on MTV News, People magazine, Peninsula Daily News, TwilightersAnonymous.com, Art Nouveau Magazine, and a variety of podcasts and Twilight fansites.
When not writing songs for Bella Rocks!, Katie actively participates in the YouTube Twilight community on the Team Twilighter channel and co-hosts the popular TwiRock.com podcast.
Katie is a Media Studies major at Northern Illinois University and currently resides right outside of Chicago, hometown of Edward Cullen.
