Sitting back in a house and putting on music is a simple thing most people do everyday, for Sydney's newest scene surfer 'John Oh' it was something that simple, that made him realise what he wanted to do. Playing a mixture of what he likes to call 'indie beats and disco treats' plus all his favourite house varieties, John Oh thrives off wowing his audiences with mixes that ride musical highs and lows. He collects influences from everywhere but some major inspirations are Deadmau5, Morgan Page, Daft Punk, PNAU, Mark Wilkinson, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' & John Digweed. He says all he wanted to do after seeing a friend's vinyl setup in his apartment was 'put on records to fill the rooms with laid back tunes'. Nowadays he spends every minute he can finding the music he loves and mixing it to let everybody on the floor have their moment.
