RACE TALK USA!

...with LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL!

About Me

Good day, sisters and brothers of all colors! This is "RACE TALK USA!", a space for everyone of all races, creeds and religious beliefs to exercise their FREEDOM to SPEAK on their thoughts on race in the United States of America today. Who I am isn't important, other than that I'm a white kid who grew up in a very mixed working class suburb of Chicago. I have worked, gone to school and served in the military with friends from all races, rich and poor, young and old; and find that many of the problems between different peoples are born out of the fact that when the work day is over we go back home to our largely (and unbelievably in the 21st century) racially separated and isolated neighborhoods every night, sit in front of the TV and listen to what these millionaires think which is based on fear, cartoonish stereotypes of one another and LIES that dismiss the fact that each one of us is different. None of us are gathering together in one room to TALK! I felt the need to start this site at this time because I don't like what I see going on on the television or hear on the radio lately; meaning that: I believe the irresponsible big news corporations are failing to report the working class' thoughts on race and primarily are focusing on only the negative angles since that's what brings in their paychecks. Both interviewers and guests on these shows are speaking their minds but with a reserved filter. A few factors for this are: 1) They risk losing their jobs if they say the wrong thing; 2) Incendiary statements are sometimes made face to face which can devolve into physical fighting; and 3) In the name of being polite many hold back on the full throttle of their deepest beliefs. So, here is the space for everyone to sound off; speak your mind whatever you feel is true. This site is uncut, unedited and uncensored for every American; without the typical big-mouths: government officials, movie stars or radio DJ's! If you can, post a video or a good old-fashioned letter will do. It's time for us to stop acting like animals. Use your mouth, not your fists. And remember: you will be representing your race. Words create friends or enemies on this planet that we all live on together. Let's make those WORDS, that DREAM, on the STATUE of LIBERTY mean what they say! Will you use your freedom for WAR or PEACE?
