We exist to help you experience an authentic relationships with Christ and others and to equip you to influence the next generation for Him.
There’s a big difference between going to Disney’s Magic Kingdom and riding on Space Mountain and simply reading about it. The two can’t even be compared. When it comes to our relationships with Christ and with others, we don’t want to settle for a shallow, superficial connection void of real power and emotion. The God of the universe lives inside us and invites to experience an intimate, exciting journey through life with Him. He blesses many of us with marriage partners and children to love and be loved. He calls all of us to experience deep, meaningful relationships with others in the church. We should never be content with simply “reading about it.†We want everyone to pull the seat belt tight and join us for the ride of their lives.
THE NEXT GENERATION
We believe God has given us a heart and vision to reach those coming behind us. This includes our children and grandchildren. It includes the thousands of students at the University of Arkansas. It includes those in our community who will one day be moms and dads, leaders and teachers and coaches. If you are 80-years-old, then the next generation may be those in their 60’s trying to figure out what to do with their empty nest and retirement years. If you are 60-years-old, then the next generation may be those in their 30’s and 40’s trying to raise and launch their children into adulthood. If you’re 40-years-old, then the next generation may be living in your home and on the campus just a few miles from us.Regardless of your age or season of life, you have a mission from God to in some way be used by Him to reach the next generation, to influence them for Christ. The “next generation†speaks of age, but just as importantly refers to those who desire to never stop growing in Christ and being used by Him. As much as anything, the next generation is a mindset of “thinking young.â€
