Band Members: I play tenor and alto sax fulltime for (MRB) the Mystic Roots Band. We are the offical backing band for Reggae super star Pato Banton. I started playing with Mystic Roots in 1997. I have done many tours with the band but in the second half of 2006 I decided to tour fulltime with MRB.The last couple of years have brought many great opportunes for me. With my home base being in San Francisco I surrounded myself with as many great muscians of all styles as possible. In the summer of 2005 I got the job playing sax with The Family Stone Band. The band was produced by Vet Stone and Grammy winners Skyler Jett and Sly Stone with musicial direction by Tony Yates (guitar and organ). I got a chance to play along side Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducte Cynthia Robinson (Trumpet) and many other older way better musicians. School was in session. I toured with The Family Stone Band, Mystic Roots Band and played every night in San Francsco when I was Home. Tony Yates then asked me to get a horn section together to join his church group Ace. On 1st and 3rd sundays at the Grand Lake Theater True Vine Ministries would enjoy the sound of an 18 piece gospel band and choir. The band consisted of many Family Stone Band members.I juggled all of this for a year before Mystic Roots needed my undivided attention. I relocated to Oceanside CA, to be closer to Mystic Roots. Mystic Roots Band is Led by my blood cuz Coot Dog. Pato Banton looks to Coot Dog to keep Mystic Roots tight. Coot, the guys and I work together in a positive way to try to make meaningfull music that makes you dance.I have worked and record with Pato Banton, Mystic Roots Band, The Family Stone Band, Fully Fullwood, Inna Heights, Orquestra Del Sol, Coot Dog, Phatty, Groove Juicy, Nick Newman Project and many others.
