What type of thing people look for in music is different, what people hear is different. The same concerns the ones who play. Some end up sounding what they sound like because that's the only way they know how to sound, some get their "sound" out of compromise. Playing live might some times be a way of compromising - this can be both good, and bad.
- Delving into certain sides of one's musicality might end up in overshadowing the songs one makes, partly because experimentation and the possibilites of doing so are vital ingredients in the process of writing songs. As a liveact the songs are boiled down to their essensces, and this is the point of this site, to show the essentials of the songs, good and bad.
- The last four years Bosse Litsheim (multi-instrumentalist, Ai Phoenix, St. Thomas) has been an important figure in the development of the musical "concept" of Leiv Reed. Lately he has joined more regularly in on liveshows.
The aim of this site is to document liveshows and to let the world in on the developement of these two musicians on their way thru their musical world.
Currently there's two concerts available here, but there'll be more soon for those that are interested. The first (11) songs are from our show at NG2 in Bergen the 15th of May this year, and if you go to the reverb-nation site there are two more fan-exclusive songs there. The second show was a solo-performance in Kristiansand in April.
