hey i'm johnny,i play guitar in 2 bands..one is a metalcore band called AS SKIES WERE FALLING...the other is a hardcore band called RUSTED REMAINS..pretty much all i do is go to work,work out,play guitar,some video games, watch tons of movies and spend time at home with my wonderful girlfriend...i don't get out much other then playing shows or attending one.. i am passionate,intense,dedicated,a stong desire,determined and commited with music..my main styles are heavy metal/metalcore/deathcore/hardcore/death metal/new metal or anything with feeling and groove..
i am just like millions of talented people out there waiting for the chance to shine in a band or as an individual once they are discovered and taken to the next level..i have come to realize that to get anywhere with your dreams in this world it's not just the hard work you do or how much talent you have at the time because we are always improving but it's also who you know..it's that one person that believes in you that knows somebody somehow or someway through family or friends..through a corporation or whatever...it's though a connection that gives you that chance to become something greater to the masses.. that's how i've seen it done so many times..i have seen people with and without talent rise to the top but it was through someone that opened a way for them which then introduced them to more people that could make them a star..
although the statistics are against me being discovered or given the chance to be in a bigger known band i still remain optimistic with my dreams and i live for the moment in everything i do..music is everything to me..i have been in metal maniacs magazine in the may 2002 issue..i had 2 demo's in which i did everything on and it got sent out world wide and got very good feedback but i had no band at that time..i even got a letter from an underground label that i didn't even send it to so that ment the word had gotten around and a buzz was being started..that was between 2001 and 2004..
one of the bands i play in that i mentioned above i helped get started back in 1997 "RUSTED REMAINS"..we are growing in popularity and WE PLAYED AT "SUMMERFEST" ON MONDAY 7/2/07 AT 4:00 P.M. ON THE CASCIO'S STAGE..SUMMERFEST IS CONSIDERED ONE OF THE LARGEST MUSIC FESTIVALS IN THE WORLD AND WE WERE ASKED TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR!!WE ARE ALSO BEING PLAYED ON 94.7 IN THE GREENBAY/APPLETON AREA AND 91.7 IN THE MILWAUKEE AREA.. so all the more support we get the better..it would be greatly appreciated..if anything changes i will let everyone know so check us out here at www.myspace.com/rusted remains..thanks!!!
