We thank you for your support.
Formed less than 1 year ago out of the ashes of 2 of the city’s more well-known underground bands, The Swiines have already caused quite-a-stir within their home town of Nottingham and surrounding areas.
These 4 talented individuals with a passion for writing great music and playing live gigs have already proven that they have what it takes to rub shoulders with the big boys and play their unforgettable tunes on the big stages.
Combining rawness, dirty sounds, passion and energy, The Swiines live performances get every single person in the room singing or bouncing along to their songs.
With regular airplay by legendary BBC DJ Dean Jackson, a live performance on Richard Bacon’s BBC 5 Live show, and getting chosen to support The Subways at Rock city by the band themselves, 2009 looks like The Swiines maybe ‘the band’ that come up with the goods.

Sounds Like: "The Swiines make bombastic rock. With swagger and poise they naturally ooze rock n rolledness in a way others can only imitate. Their sound is earthy, gritty and accomplished. Their stage presence is compelling and the songs they deliver are as memorable as they are potent."

Dean Jackson - Mercury Music Prize judge and BBC DJ.

Not since the Arctic Monkeys have the indie crowd taken to a band like they have The Swiines."

John Harkin - Click Liverpool

"Big things are imminent. Nottingham's supergroup."

Nottingham's new music podcast.

"With an endless conveyor-belt of raucous indie rock, the Swiines are armed to the rafters with tunes to arrest your attention. Their blend of anthemic stomps with murky riffs spoils the listener and perfectly demonstrates their full repertoire. Always electric live."

Pickup.

"The Swiines embrace all that is great about modern British rock and then twist it to deliver their own unique sound!"

Freeq magazine.

"With panache and confidence, these boys are already going places."
